Betty Howard

HOWARD, Betty Sue - Age 65, of Flint Township, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022.  Graveside services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris.  Those desiring may make contributions to the family.

Betty was born March 20, 1957 in Flint, the daughter of James and Pearlie Sue (Bassett) Lawson.  She was a 1975 graduate of Carman Ainsworth High School.  She married Frank Morris Howard June 2, 1979 in Flint and he preceded her in death November 2, 2016.  She had resided in the Flint area her entire life.  Betty retired from Carman Ainsworth Community Schools as a bus driver.  She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo "Bingo Betty".

Surviving are: her daughters, Delores (Tim) Trzil of North Carolina and Wendy (Anthony) Krupinski of Flint Township; grandchildren, Myranda (Sam) Collins, Amanda (Chris) Wright, DeVon Walker, T.J. Trzil, and Shelby Trzil; great grandchildren, Emersyn Trzil and Gracie Collins, and Benjamin Wright; special nephew, Eli Krupinski; siblings, Bill (Brenda) Lawson, Ruth (Dean) Mills, Lori (Jim) Hagar, and Dennis (Judy) Lawson; several other nieces and nephews; and her grand puppies, Scooter, JoJo, and Teddy Bear.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jim Lawson; and sister, Sandy Kehoe.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
