Betty Gregus

GREGUS, Betty Jane - age 81, of Flint, died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Friday, October 24, 2008 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 6380 Beecher Rd. with Pastor Steve Lockman officiating. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of service. Mrs. Gregus was born September 23, 1927 in Flint, the daughter of George and Anna (Arndt) Mohr. She married Eugene J. Gregus on April 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1995. Mrs. Gregus had worked at Emmanuel Lutheran Church School and as a nurses aide at Hurley Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. She was an avid reader and a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Guild. Surviving are: three children, Mark Gregus of Byron, Lezlie Sears and husband, John of FL, Brad Gregus of FL; three grandchildren, Andrea, Geoffrey and Joseph; two great-grandsons, Patrick and Morgan; two sisters, Dorothy Andrusis of Flushing, Norine Richardson and husband, Bobby of MO; many cousins, nieces and nephews; special friends, the Six Pack and many special friends at Emmanuel Lutheran and her apartment complex.
