Betty Ellery

ELLERY, Betty Sue- Age 89, Grand Blanc, went to be with her Lord and her husband of 50 years, Bob, on October 2, 2016. Funeral services will be held 12PM Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5PM- 8PM Tuesday, with a rosary being prayed at 7PM. Visitation will also be held 11AM until time of service on Wednesday. Betty was born in Kennett, MO, on February 15, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Cadle) Thompson. She married Bob (Louis) Ellery in Flint on August 10, 1946. He preceded her in death on November 9, 1996. Mrs Ellery relished being a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed going to the casinos with family and friends and playing keno. Surviving to cherish her memory are children: Cheryl L. Woodham, Karen (Lynn) Miller, Robert Ellery, Michelle (Mark) McKeen; grandchildren, Jennifer Kleber, Aaron Woodham, Nick Jacko, Katie Patterson, Teresa Abraham, Sarah Darga, Amanda Kingston, Robert Ellery; great- grandchildren, Joey, Courtney, Katelyn, Brooklynn, Braylynn and Parker.
