Betty Doyle

DOYLE, Betty Ann - age 80, of Fenton, died March 7, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 309 E Maple St, Holly, MI 48442 with Fr. David Blazek celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Monday including a 5 PM Rosary Service at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to St. Rita Catholic Church. Betty was born February 18, 1943 in Alpena, MI, the daughter of Ferdinand John and Leona Mary (Sabourin) Maciejewski. She was a 1964 graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing and married Joseph T. Doyle on January 16, 1965 in Flint. Betty was a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Hammond Nursing Home in Fenton, Crestmont Nursing Home in Fenton and retired from Regency of Grand Blanc. She was a volunteer with American Cancer Society "Reach to Recovery" Program and McLaren Auxiliary. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Rita Catholic Church in Holly. Surviving are: husband, Joseph Doyle; three children, Sean (Joy) Doyle of Grand Blanc, Steven (Jennifer) Doyle of Commerce, and Michelle Doyle of Cheboygan; grandchildren, Kyle, Cassandra (Nathan), Kristian, Kaleb, Kaitlyn, Colin, and Joshua; siblings, Thomas Macks of Alpena and James and Barbara Maciejewski of Herron, MI.
