DOLEHANTY, Betty Jane - Age 88, of Byron, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at her residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, December 21, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd., Gaines. Fr. Robert McKeon celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with a Rosary at 6 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to the St. Joseph Building Fund or CMV Research Fund. Betty was born January 25, 1921 in Attica, MI, the daughter of Earl and Rachel Utley. She was married to Max Dolehanty, who preceded her in death on April 4, 1996. Mrs. Dolehanty was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also a member of the TNC Wig Bowling League in Holiday, FL. She loved to travel and enjoyed gambling trips. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed playing cards and dominos. Surviving are: children, Sandra Adams of Linden, Max Dolehanty Jr. of Byron, Marie Dolehanty of Byron; grandchildren, Ann (Brian) Richardson, Bethany (Michael) Daniels, Catherine Vance, Michelle Hibbard, Mary (Marty) Wisenbaugh, David Boudro Jr., Ken (Shelly) Adams, Jr., Cynthia (Eric) Cracium; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Patrick Shane, Kellin, Katie, Joshua, Timothy, Andrew, Matt, Coty, Alexander, Joshua, Martie Beth, Emily, Jake, Jessica, Rebeca, Tyler, Brittany, Kristen, Colin; great great-grandson, Jackson Lee; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Max; brothers and sisters.
