Betty Louise Dasen

DASEN, Betty Louise - Age 79, of Flushing, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, May 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, Rev. Jeff Jaggers officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday, and 10 AM until the funeral on Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Flushing United Methodist Church. Betty was born January 9, 1928 the daughter of Frank W. and Pauline E. (Lathrop) Hayes. She married Robert Eugene Dasen in Flint on April 17, 1948. She was a member of Flushing United Methodist Church, and a member and former secretary of Woodmen of the World for 45 years. She enjoyed helping people and making baskets. Mrs. Dasen is survived by her husband, Robert; 2 children, Theresa Schreiber of Flushing, Dr. Kevin R. Dasen and wife Diane of Sacramento, CA; 2 grandchildren, Ann and husband Ryan Dorhout, Julia Leigh Dasen; sister, Dorothy Bois of San Jose, CA; brother, Robert and wife Verna Hayes of Flint; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hayes of Swartz Creek; brother-in-law, Ray Jimenez of Flint; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Frank Hayes and Richard Hayes; sister, Geraldine Jimenez.
