Betty C. Bower

BOWER,  Betty C. (Partridge), age 83 of Flint, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Hurley Medical Center.  Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. (Just South of Hill Rd.)  Rev. Michael Jewett will officiate and burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park Cemtery. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 to 8 P.M. tonight and Saturday from 10 A.M. to service time. Mrs. Bower was born on the family farm, March 27, 1923, the last of six children to Herman and Bessie (Daniells) Partridge. She graduated as the youngest member of Mt. Morris High School Class of 1939.  She worked at the AC Spark Plug Division during WWII,spent many years as a homemaker and also worked over 20 years in the office of Consolidated Packaging, retiring in 1990.  As a member of one of Genesee County's oldest families, she was the family geneologist and historian which was a lifelong passion. She is survived by her only child, Daniel and wife Deianna Bower of Burton; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Jack Amidon of Flint and several nieces and nephews.  Friends may share online condolences or post tributes at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
