Bettie Domerese

DOMERESE, Bettie C. - Age 87, of Fenton, formerly of Green Valley, AZ, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at The Rock Church Fenton 11400 Linden Rd., Fenton. Pastor Wes Morris officiating. Visitation 11:00 am until the time of service Tuesday at Church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The Rock Church Fenton. Bettie was born September 8, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of Horace and Alice (Castetter) Cantrell. She married Pastor Alvin V. Domerese in Flint, February 26, 1955. Bettie graduated from Flint Central High School. She was a homemaker and mother but also was employed as a receptionist and bookkeeper for various companies. Bettie was a former member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and The First Baptist Church of Lapeer. She recently attended The Rock Church, Fenton. Bettie enjoyed music, visiting the beach and seashore, and trips to Mackinac Island. Mostly though, Bettie loved spending time with her family. Bettie is survived by: her husband, Pastor Alvin V. Domerese; children, Bob (Kathy) Domerese; and Sandy ( Vernon) Yoder; grandchildren, Brock Domerese, Krysten (David) Drummond, Lauren (Isaac) Kurtz, and Caitlin (Dustin) Brenner; twelve great grandchildren; her sister, Nancy (Jerry) Van Steenburg; and several nieces and nephews.
