Bethany Wheaton

WHEATON, Bethany Ann - Age 71, of Flushing, died Saturday, April 14, 2018. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 2-8 PM and Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Bethany was born August 7, 1946 in Flint, the daughter of Richard and Roberta (Schmiedeknecht) Wheaton. She was a 1964 graduate of Ainsworth High School and a 1974 graduate of Hurley School of Nursing. She retired in 2017 after 43 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse, she loved to take care of people. Bethany enjoyed horses, animals, baking, and spending time with her family. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Erin and husband Joe Carter of Fenton and Jennifer and husband Brian Buto of Fenton; daughter-in-law, Nan Hajec of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Jesika, Braden, Caleb, Carley, Ian, Kaitlin, Suzette, Gabriel, Ava, Brian Jr., Isabella, and Charlotte; great grandson, Elijah; sister, Rebecca Boisclair of Flushing; brother, Robin and wife Barb Wheaton of Flint; companion, James McIntosh of Flushing; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
