Bethany Sanford

SANFORD, Bethany A. - Age 95 of Davison died March 18, 2023 at the Lapeer County Medical Facility. She was born October 18, 1927 to John and Fleeta Scott. She married Arnold Hendershott in 1947 and raised 10 children. Later she married Verian Sanford and moved to Florida. Beth enjoyed Bingo, traveling, and going to the casino. She was a Gold Star Mother and active with the VFW in Davison for many years acting as President of the Auxiliary for one year.

Beth is survived by her daughters, Diane McCallum, Cheryl Buhl, Charlene (Arnie) Schwerin, Christine Thompson, and Ellen Burch; sons, Wayne (Karen) Hendershott, Jack (Shannon) Hendershott, and Don (Mary) Hendershott; 18 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 16 great- great grandchildren; many friends at Tackins Terrace in Davison where she has resided for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; and both husbands; sons, Thomas and Harold Hendershott; siblings, Harvey Scott, and Alice Bonesack. A celebration of Beth's Life will take place at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc.
