Bethany Roedel

ROEDEL, Bethany Ann - Age 88, of Lennon, passed away October 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held 3PM Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pastor John Walworth will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Bethany was born July 28, 1934 in Flint, the daughter of Bruce Duane and Vivian Pearl (Polsgrove) Rubey. She married John Roedel on October 30, 1954 in Lennon; he preceded her in death on August 1, 2014. Sewing was Bethany's passion. She made over 100 quilts during her life. She loved reading and spending time in Florida, where she and her husband wintered for 28 years. She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Patricia) Roedel and Chris (Mary) Roedel; grandchildren, Jason (Jen), Allison (Adam), Lana and Cody (Laura); great-grandchildren, Blake, Shane and Hailey; many friends and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, George and Ruth Roedel; brother, Bruce Rubey.
