Bert Patrick FOSTER

FOSTER, Bert Patrick -- Age 47, of the Flint Area, died August 19, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Fr. Joseph Khlil officiating. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Francis Prayer Center, 2381 E. Carpenter Rd., Flint, MI 48505. Bert was born July 11, 1964 in Flint, the son of Richard L. and Marjorie (VanDalen) Foster. He attended Carmen High School and the Genesee Area Skill Center. Bert worked at Flint Metal Form and lived to hunt, fish and barbecue. Surviving are: mother, Marjorie; three siblings, Mark (Kathy) Foster of Swartz Creek, Margo Kincaid and fianc, John O'Neil of Flint, Lisa Foster of Flint; nieces and nephews, Kristal, Katrine and Andrew Foster, Angelique Kincaid; one great niece and two great nephews; special uncle, Vincent VanDalen.
