Bernard "Bud" Dulude

DuLude, Bernard "Bud" Lamont - age 96, of Flushing, died April 1, 2023. Visitation will be held 1-5 PM Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. No formal funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Bud was born July 17, 1926 in Flint, the son of Roy and Beatrice (Beals) DuLude. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. Bud married Mary Louise Bradley on December 15, 1945 and she preceded him in death on August 23, 2009. He was a bricklayer by trade. Bud enjoyed golfing and traveling with his Airstream trailer with his wife when they were younger. They had a home in Arizona for many years.  He also enjoyed trips to the casino, reading Westerns and was an avid U of M Football fan. Surviving are: son, Thomas DuLude of Flushing; daughter, Cindy Bassi and fiancé, John Reid of Flushing; grandchildren, Todd DuLude, Heidi Kleban, Peter (Danielle) Bassi II, and Natalee (Adam) Morgan; great-grandchildren, Isabella and Lily DuLude, Zoe Kleban, Luca, Remmi, and Maddox Bassi. He was preceded in death by: his parents, wife, and son, Jerry DuLude on October 29, 2022.
