Benny R. ROBINSON

ROBINSON, Benny R., age 77, of Flint, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc Twp. with Pastor Donnie Eagle officiating. Burial will follow at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00-8:00 p.m.; Monday 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Benny was born February 28, 1934 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas the son of the late Fred and Bernice Robinson. He was employed by General Motors, Flint, Plant #5, retiring after 38 years of service. Benny was also a member of Crossroads Temple, Flint. He is survivied by wife, Lucille "Lucy"; sons, Gary Robinson and wife, Sandy, Robin Robinson and wife, Kathy, Shawn Robinson and wife, Meg, Ken Murray and wife, Diana, Bill Murray and wife, Brenda; daughter, Mary Payne and husband, Brad; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters and a brother.
