Beatrice Stacy

STACY, Beatrice - age 95 of Fenton, died November 17, 2019. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 3 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Beatrice was born August 22, 1924 in Belfry, KY, the daughter of Paul and Lonnie (Runyon) Swafford. She married Lawrence Stacy in 1941 and he preceded her in death in 2007. Beatrice loved to cook and bake. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fenton where she taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed surf fishing with her husband, reading and cardinals. Her friends at Millpond Manor were like family to her. Surviving are: daughter, Sharon (Don) Campbell of Fenton; three brothers, Jack (Jimmy Sue) Swafford, Amos (Carmen) Swafford, and Wendell (Barbara) Swafford all of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews; many friends at Millpond Manor; and her grand dog, Roxie. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, two sons, Dannyray and Gregory; two brothers; and four sisters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
