RILEY, Beatrice Kay, age 66, of Lamont, formerly of Goodrich, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Spectrum Hospital, Grand Rapids. Funeral service will be held 2:00p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Twp. Burial to follow at Crestwood Cemetery. A wake will follow services. Visitation will be held from 11:00a.m. Sunday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at the funeral home. Beatrice was born September 18, 1943 the daughter of Otto and Welma (Budd) Symanzik in Goodrich. She was raised in Goodrich, graduating from Goodrich High School class of 1961. Beatrice experience a lot in her life, through all of which her faith remained unwavered. Her faith in others was unyielding as well, as she often put others first in her life. It was her faith in God that kept her persistent to the very end. She is survived by her 3 children, James Thorne of Waterford, Hope Adair (Bob) of Nunica, Jonathon Riley of Nunica; 2 grandchildren, Devon and Kaitlyn Adair; 5 siblings, Eugene Symanzik of Goodrich, Carol Dague of Kooskia, ID, Dona DeWitt of FL, Albert Symanzik of Sarasota, FL., Francis Symanzik (Linda) of Goodrich; previous spouse, Dan Riley (Sherry), close friends Mary LeMieux of Marne, Pat Franton of Flint, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
