Beatrice Mcintyre

McIntyre, Beatrice "Bea" - Age 93, of Flint, died Tuesday, December 20, 2016. Funeral services will be held 3PM Monday December 26 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial will be held at 1PM Tuesday December 27 at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1PM until time of service Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Abilities First Charitable Organization of Michigan. Bea was born May 8, 1923 in Stockport, England, the daughter of the late Edward James and Beatrice (Jarratt) McIntyre. She retired from St. Joseph Hospital, Flint as a nurse's aide with 25 years of service. Bea was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and past member of the Garden Club. She enjoyed watching and feeding the birds and working in the gardens at Easter Seals. Surviving are: sister-in-law, Norma McIntyre of Bridgeport; several nieces and nephews; close friends, Dawn Shurter and Kindra Wright. Bea is also survived by many relatives that are still in England. She was preceded in death by her brother Donald J. McIntyre.
