She leaves many friends, cousins, nieces and nephews to cherish her memory.
Barbara retired from the State Bank of Linden after 25+ years of service. She was always a smiling face at the drive through banking window and met her second husband there. Barbara married Jack Forton in 1988. (Hence the name difference of one letter in her last name).
Barb enjoyed spending time with her family, music, dancing, gardening, camping, fishing, boating, good food (favorites fried fish and chicken livers), Margaritas, Casino trips, bingo and other games, General Hospital and Hallmark movies. Barb was always very generous, happy, upbeat, and smiling. She always had loving pet names for everyone, including, “man”, “sweetheart”, “babe”, “chickie”, “honey”, etc.
