Barbara Ruth Zerod

ZEROD, Barbara Ruth  Age 73, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, January 2, 2006. A memorial service will be held 12 PM Friday, January 6, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., (just south of Hill Rd.) Flint. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the time of service on Friday. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of their choice. Ms. Zerod was born November 13, 1932 in Flint, the daughter of Benjamin S. and Ann B. (Nadorozna) Zerod. She was a graduate of Flint Central High School. Ms. Zerod retired from the City of Flint as an Administrative Assistant to the Chief of Police where she had worked for 13 different Chiefs. She enjoyed bowling and watching golf. She was a strong, thoughtful, caring woman who loved her family and loved to help her neighbors. Surviving are: son, Benjamin (Sherrie) Zerod of Mancelona, MI; granddaughter, Stephanie Webster of CA; sister, Mary Ann Zeh; three nephews, Dave, Don and Phil Zeh; significant other, James Nault and his children; several grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; and brother-in-law, Jack Zeh.
