Barbara Wyrwicki

WYRWICKI, Barbara Jean - Age 89, of Grand Blanc, died Sunday, October 15, 2017. Services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, 7234 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor Nathan Allen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Barbara was born November 23, 1927, in Flint, the daughter of Adolph and Alta Mae (Conklin) Peterson. She married Joseph William Wyrwicki on September 25, 1947 in Flint. Joseph preceded her in death August 18, 2017. They resided in Grand Blanc since 1969. She worked for Michigan Bell and was a Foster Parent. Barbara was a member of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing bridge, and was a member of many bridge groups. Surviving are: son, Douglas (Dawn) Wyrwicki of Fenton; daughter, Tracy Wyrwicki of Grand Blanc; 5 grandchildren, Neely (Ryan) Thompson of Grand Blanc, Michael (Lisa) Kamischke of Brighton, Natalie (Josh) Sharp of Washougal, WA, Melissa (Harry) Eiferle of Grand Blanc, and Haley (Gabriel) Heath of Grand Rapids; 6 great grandchildren, Rowan, Benjamin, Grady, Peter, Elloise, and Primrose; sister, Shirley (Robert) Metric; and brother-in-law, Richard Chapple; and many nieces and nephews.
