WOODBECK, Barbara E. - Age 81, of Grand Blanc, formerly of Burton. Funeral Service 12:00 PM Thursday June 8, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor James Neighbors officiating. Interment at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Wednesday; and 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thursday. Memorial Contributions in Barbara's memory would be appreciated to The PCD Foundation (Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia). Barbara's 6 year old great granddaughter, Olive is afflicted with PCD.

Barbara was born July 10, 1941 in East Chicago, IN, the daughter of Clayton and Ruby Gordon (Brown) Tichenor. She married Robert A. Woodbeck in Grand Blanc January 7, 1961. Robert preceded her in death on August 4, 2016. Barbara graduated from Grand Blanc High School. She was a homemaker, and loving mother and grandmother. Barbara was a member of  F.O. E. Aerie #3814 in Burton. She was a Home Party Sales Dealer. Barbara enjoyed quilting, canning, and especially hosting and entertaining family and friends.

Barbara is survived by: her children, Melody (Steve) Shaffer, Robert A. Woodbeck, Jr., Marcella Dumont, Margie Woodbeck, and Rodney (Jenny) Woodbeck; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sister, Shirley Qualls; several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Robert A. Woodbeck, Sr.; son-in-law, Joe Dumont; grandson, Scott McGinnis; sisters, Martine (Lafe) Neighbors, LaVern (Frank) Wirth, Marjorie (David) Wiley ; brother-in-laws, George Cox, and Erby Qualls.
