Barbara Ann WOLPERT

WOLPERT, Barbara Ann (Seay) - Age 77, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully at Crestmont Healthcare Center on Friday, June 3, 2011. Barbara was born June 23, 1933 in Flint, MI to Angeline and Charles Seay. After graduating from Sacred Heart in 1951, she married her highschool sweetheart, Robert Wolpert. She worked at Mary's Sunshine Diary and Fisher's Bingo Hall. Barbara loved to spend time with her family. As a pastime, she enjoyed playing cards and going to the casino. She is survived by her two children: daughter Rebecca Duberg and husband John of Grand Blanc and son, Robert Wolpert, Jr. and wife Lynn of Clarksville, TN; 4 grandchildren: Angela Healy and husband John, Scott Duberg, Ryan Duberg and wife Amber, Samantha Wheeler and husband James; 5 great-grandchildren: Sydney, Hannah, Marshall, Duane, and Ella; 4 sisters: Marie Wallace, Dorothy Featherly, Junie and husband Joe Fechik, and Gloria Tappen; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Wolpert, parents, and sister, Helen Mervyn. A memorial service is planned for 12:30 on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until the time of service. Barbara will be laid to rest with her husband at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those desiring, may make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
