WILCOX, Barbara Ann - Age 83, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, April 10, 2020. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Barbara was born November 26, 1936 in Detroit, the daughter of Thomas August and Mary Consuello (Halpin) Blessing. She attended Michigan State University. She had resided in Grand Blanc since 1966 coming from Flint/Mt. Clemens/Grosse Pointe. Barbara retired in 2008 from Coldwell Bankers Kuehnle and Associates as a realtor and bookkeeper after 40 years of service; and also had worked for Jim Tubbs, Inc. She was an avid fan of the Michigan State University Spartans, Detroit Tigers, and Detroit Red Wings. She enjoyed bowling, painting, and she loved dogs. She was a member of the Curves Group.
Surviving her are: Daughter Diane (Brian) Sunde of Fenton, MI, grandson, Andy Sunde. Daughter Colleen (Chris) Chandler of Orlando, FL, grandchildren, Michael Chandler, Keely Chandler, Jillian Chandler. Daughter Kathy (Tim) Marzonie of Orlando, FL, grandson Ryan (Jenna) Coon, great granddaughter Ella Coon. Grandson, Kevan (Alexandra) Coon, great granddaughters, Maeve & Mackenzie Coon, grandson Trent Marzonie. Daughter Sheila Sutliff of Grand Blanc, MI; granddaughter, Kelly Palmer (John Diefenbach), great grandson Jackson, granddaughters Bridget Palmer, Courtney Sutliff, Heather (George) Ettinger, great grandson Kirk.
Other grandchildren by marriage include; Lacie, Ronnie, Matthew, Holly, and Joey; and several great grandchildren. Surviving sisters; Mary (Jim) Martiny of Pinckney, MI, Ginny (Perry) Huellmantel of Southfield, MI and Lillian Campion of Royal Oak, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara married Ronald Lewis Wilcox and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Merrick Sunde; and her children's father, John Emmett O'Malia. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
