Barbara Wheeler

WHEELER, Barbara Ann (Korth) - Age 78, of Flushing, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 11, 2017. Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 17, 2017 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1209 Coutant St., Flushing. Pastor Cliff Bira officiating. Burial in Hough Cemetery, Almont. Visitation will be held at the church Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Barbara was born August 18, 1938 in Flint, the daughter of John Roy and Eldina Mildred (Tank) Korth. She was a 1956 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married Rodric G. Wheeler June 30, 1956 in Flint and he preceded her in death October 4, 2013. She retired in 1993 from Genesee Bank after 30 years of service. Barbara had resided in the Flint area her entire life. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Flint. Surviving are: daughters, Laurie Lee Wheeler and Lisa Ann and husband Matthew Elasivich both of Flushing; granddaughter, Suzanne Lisette Elasivich and Bud Kibby of Grand Rapids.
