SINK, Barbara Ruth, age 75, of Fenton, died Sunday, August 12, 2007 at St. Joseph Hospital, Howell. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Thursday, August 16, 2007 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell., Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment in Sharp Cemetery, Deerfield Twp. Visitation will be 2-8PM Tuesday and Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St. Linden. A rosary will be prayed 5PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Barbara was born May 10, 1932 in Detroit the daughter of James Benjamin and Grace Alice (Harper) Blankenship. She married Robert Charles Sink on August 15, 1953 in Farmington. Barbara was a graduate of Linden High School and lived in Linden until 2000 when she moved to Fenton. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a past member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Robert; 3 sons, Timothy Sink of Las Vegas, Peter Sink of Fenton, Robert Sink (Ivelissa) of Los Angeles, CA; 6 grandchildren, Alex, Abbey, Allison, Terrance, Chelsea, Robert Angelo; sister, Beverly Rozanski (Raymond) of Hartland and several nieces and nephews.
