SIMMONS, Barbara A. - Age 71, of Burton, died Sunday, June 1, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Memorial Service will be held 2 PM at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. with Pastor Todd Vanaman officiating. The family will receive friends 12 PM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial gathering will follow at the family's residence. Barbara was born June 9, 1936 in Pontiac. Surviving are her 6 children, Dale and wife Mary Butler of Burton, Paul and wife Pat Simmons of Georgia, Christy and husband Scott Appleton, Jessie Simmons, Terry Simmons, Danny and wife Jamie Simmons of; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Donna Cook, Sandy (Jay) Campbell; brother, Mike Crosby; several nieces and nephews.
