Barbara Jean SELF

SELF, Barbara Jean, of Holly, age 65, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral Services will be 2PM Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Burial will follow at Beebe Cemetery, Rose Twp. Visitation will be 5-8PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Barbara was born August 4, 1944 in Traverse City the daughter of the late Leroy and Elnora (Draper) Breithaupt. She married Matthew Self May 24, 1992 in Manistee. Barbara was a custodian for Linden Community School and the GISD until retirement. Surviving are her husband, Matthew; 3 children, Diana (Jimmie) Sharp, Tamra Skank, Mike (Marci) Clymer; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Steven, Aaron, Shane; 1 great-grandson, Ryland; 2 step-children, Jerry (Trish) Self; Evelyn (Ron) Stewart, 2 sisters, Darlene (Larry) Miller, Jonda (Ken) Schwass; brother, Bruce (Linda) Breithaupt; 3 step-grandchildren and many extended loving family members.
