RIES, Barbara A. - Age 83, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Private services will be held at the Fenton United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Barbara was born February 27, 1934 in Fenton, the daughter of James and Elizabeth (Clark) Burley. She was married to Wayland Ries in Fenton in 1978; and he preceded her in death in 1991.Barbara worked for Kelsey-Hayes Company as a brake valve technician. She was a member of the Fenton United Methodist Church. Surviving are: 4 children, Robert (Phyllis) Brady, LeeAnn Brady, Ralph Wood, and Allen Wood; 18 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
