Barbara Lea RICHARDSON

RICHARDSON, Barbara Lea - Age 68, of Linden, went to be with her Lord, Sunday July 5, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2515 W. Grand River Ave., Howell, Pastor Mark Franck officiating. Burial immediately following in Sharp Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Tuesday and Wednesday from 1-9 PM and at church Thursday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Genesys Hospice or Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Barbara was born August 2, 1940 in Wayne, the daughter of George and Martha (Kessler) Dorow. She married Norman Richardson November 28, 1959 in Wayne. She was a member of Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Howell. Surviving are: husband, Norman; 2 daughters, Christine and husband James Ross and Jennifer and husband James VanDyne; 3 grandchildren, James, Matthew (Justine), Marissa Ross; 2 great-granddaughters, Sydney Belle and Charleigh Hope; siblings, Mike and wife Lucy Dorow, Lois and husband Don Drayton, Alvin and wife Margaret Dorow, Shirley and husband Chuck LeMay, Alan and wife Kay Dorow; several nieces and nephews.
