PLUDE, Barbara Ann - Age 87, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, July 28, 2012. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Daniel Kogut. Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek Monday from 5-9 PM, Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and at church from 10:00 AM until time of Mass. A vigil service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, North End Soup Kitchen or the charity of your choice. Barbara was born November 4, 1924 in Flint, the daughter of Clare A. and Margaret C. (Delaney) King. She married Leonard C. Plude September 28, 1945 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Flint and he preceded her in death August 2, 2005. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. Surviving are: 12 children, Michael (Reta) of Holly, Kathleen (Michael) Paul of Alma, Eileen (Jeffrey) Attwood of Swartz Creek, Therese of Burton, Margaret (Richard) Schaefer of Fenton, Barbara Robinson of Swartz Creek, Maureen (Allen) Slamer of Battle Creek, Mark (Susan) of Fenton, Bruce (Becky) of Tawas City, Karen of Illinois, Paul (Nancy) of Flushing and Julia of Swartz Creek; 21 grandchildren, Chad, Amanda, Monyka, Joshua, Lindsay, Erica, Rich, Charles, Andrew, Stephen, Vincent, Kristin, Sarah, Jacob, Bridget, Jenna, Eric, Megan, Masun, Logan, Natalie; 8 great grandchildren, Samantha, Gabriel, Alison, Sydney, Brandon, Justin, Blake and Layla. She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kathleen Agnes; son, Patrick Anthony; grandson, Matthew Thomas; and sister, Agnes King.
