KLAUSS, Barbara Elizabeth (McAuliffe) - age 86 of Flint, died July 6, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM Thursday, July 13, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 9450 Duffield Rd, Gaines, MI 48436. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Wednesday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of one's choice. Barbara was born September 12, 1936, in Saginaw, the daughter of Conrad and Amelia (Reisig) Klauss. She played violin when she was younger and had been employed as a waitress and seamstress. Barbara loved her family and was a loving mother and grandmother to five children, Timothy (Courtney) McAuliffe, Judy (Jim) Richardson, Blaine (Jackie) McAuliffe, Phil McAuliffe, and Jacob (Alicia) McAuliffe; daughter-in-law, Cathy McAuliffe; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
