Barbara Jean KING

KING, Barbara Jean - Age 67, died Monday, June 29, 2009 at her Flint residence. Funeral service will be 11AM Friday, July 3, 2009 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 204 S. Ballenger Hwy., Flint, Pastor Steven Maske officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Ave., Suite 202, Wilmette, IL 60091. Barbara was born on April 6, 1942 in Indiana, the daughter of Conrad C. and Edith Russell. Barbara was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, an artist and member of Flint Institute of Arts. Surviving are: husband of 24 years, Don Smith of Flint; children, Adam (Tamara) King of Flint, Laurie King of Denver, Colorado, Louisa King of Miami, Florida; grandson, Drake; brothers and sisters.
