JENKINS, Barbara- Age 86, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, November 10, 2016. Barbara was born December 2, 1929 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of late George Alfred and Gladys Irene (Shell) Myers. Mrs. Jenkins enjoyed bowling, word searches, and going out to eat. She retired from G.M. Fisher Body with 15 years of service. Surviving are daughters, Beverly Jean Lemmen of Wyoming MI, Tamra Loomis of Chesterfield, MI; grandchildren, Amy, Jill (Brett), Matt (Caroline), Paul, Pam (Ryan), Nicole (Mike), Bryan, Ashley (Jeff); 13 great grandchildren; 4 sisters; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Carol Jenks; 2 brothers; 1 sister; special friend Max. Funeral services will be held 11AM, Monday, November 14, at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4PM - 8PM Sunday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
