Barbara Hall

HALL, Barbara L. - age 90 of Swartz Creek, Michigan, went to be with the Lord on March 15, 2025. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church located at 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan with Fr. Louis Ekka officiating. Private interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Mt. Morris, Michigan. Visitation from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025 at the Sharp Funeral Homes - Miller Road Chapel (8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Michigan) and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. There will be a rosary at 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Barbara to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church (www.smqa.net).

Barbara was born on June 22, 1934 in Genesee, Michigan to the late Harold Franklin and Bernice (Thompson) Wildfong. She graduated from Mt. Morris High School in 1952 and shortly thereafter married Gerald R. Hall and together they raised their eight children. Eventually, Barbara became the owner and operator of Hall's Greenhouse, and it has remained a thriving family business for over 50 years. Barbara's faith & family were cornerstones of her life. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and she cherished the time spent with her family and friends. She enjoyed frequent trips to East Tawas, Michigan with the companionship of her many dogs.

Surviving are her children, Gerald (Carol) Hall, Jr. of Gaines; Michael (Janice) Hall of Lexington; Gregory (Robin) Hall of Holladay, Utah; Stephen Hall of Grant Island, FL: Mary (Roger) Sovis of Oxford; Laura McGuire of Midland; Charles (Amber) Hall of Linden. 19 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. Siblings, Marjory Weatherford; Cathy Carpentier; Sandra Wildfong, and many niece and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Hall; son, William Hall; brother, Harold Wildfong, Jr.
