GOODMAN, Barbara Ann - Age 82, of Grand Blanc Township, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Great Lakes Baptist Temple 2112 E. Maple Ave, Flint. Pastor David Chittenden officiating. Burial immediately following in Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint Thursday and Friday from 5-9 PM and at church Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the church or the American Cancer Society. Barbara was born February 8, 1933 in Flint the daughter of Paul August and Lena Madeline (Schlegel) Rieman. She married David J. Goodman August 11, 1951 in Flint and he preceded her in death April 29, 1997. She worked for Grand Blanc and Carman Ainsworth Community Schools for 33 years. Barbara was a devoted Christian and was a member of Great Lakes Baptist Temple for over 58. She also was a Girl Scout Leader in Grand Blanc for 30 years. Surviving are: 2 children, Dave and wife Jan Goodman of Flint and Brenda Goodman of Sears; 5 grandchildren, Alaina (Aaron) Wiens, Samantha Goodman, Jeremiah (Becca) McNeilly, Brian (Jenny) McNeilly, and Justin McNeilly; 3 great grandchildren, Izzy, Lucas, and Asher; siblings, Ronnie (Pearl) Rieman of Burton, Shirley (Jim) Kennedy of Alabama, Maxine (Fred) Wisner of Flint, and Paul Rieman, Jr. of Flint; and several nieces and nephews.
