Barbara Fredenburg

FREDENBURG, Barbara Jean - age 81, of Fenton, died January 30, 2022. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Linda Hawley officiating. Interment will follow at Hodges Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday and 1 PM - 2 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church, 9141 Hartland Rd, Fenton, MI 48430. Barbara was born May 22, 1940 in Pontiac, MI, the daughter of William H. and Margaret A. (Donaldson) Oak. She retired from Gilreath Manufacturing in 1997 as a Quality Control Inspector. Barbara married William Stanley Fredenburg on September 14, 1991 and he preceded her in death on November 7, 2000. She was a long time member of Tyrone Community Presbyterian Church and an avid quilter. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Moose Lodge and volunteered with Genesys Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are: daughter, Dawn (Gary) Becker-Headrick of Fenton; son, Dr. Russell (Dr. Rose) Becker of Naples, FL; three grandchildren, Andrew, Olivia, and Alex Becker; brother-in-law, Donald Becker; former husband and father of her children, Russell Becker.
