Barbara Boyle

BOYLE, Barbara Ruth - Age 94, of Swartz Creek formerly of Essexville, died Thursday, October 6, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday October 15 at the Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7365 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Reverend David Krueger officiating. Visitation will be held 12:30 PM until time of service on Saturday at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Genesee County Humane Society. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Barbara was born January 22, 1922 in Sullivan, Indiana, the daughter of the late Irvin and Georgia (Whistler) Bailey. Mrs. Boyle enjoyed rummage sales, watching Detroit Tigers baseball, watching golf and made amazing apple pies. She also enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. She was lovingly called grandma Barbara and grandma great by her great grandkids. Surviving are: daughters, Linda (David) Krueger of Swartz Creek, Nancy Easy of CA; grandchildren, Nathanael Krueger of FL, Emily Krueger of Swartz Creek; Theresa (Daniel) Hesson of Grand Blanc, Jason Easy; step grandchildren, Scott Reed, Tammy Reed, Kim (Louie) Camacho; great grandchildren, Adriana and Ashton Hesson and step great grandchildren, Brittany and Daniel Camacho. She was also preceded in death by husband George Boyle; granddaughter, Susan Reed; brothers, Jim Bailey, Tom Bailey; sister, Nancy Bailey and cousins Rosemary (Willard) Camfield and JoAnn Kelly.
