Barbara Boyer

Barbara Louise (Johnson) Boyer was born in Mancelona, MI, August 3, 1931, the daughter of Harold John & Areldene (Oldt) Johnson. She was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School, and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where she received her B.A. in 1953 and her Master of Social Work degree in 1955. She was employed as a social worker and mental health therapist in Tennessee, Texas, and Michigan, having retired from Genesee County Mental Health Center in 1994. Surviving are sons Victor Boyer (Jill) of Boerne, TX, Lee Boyer of Urbana, IL, and grandson Clayton Boyer of Boerne, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents. A private memorial service will be held for family.
