Barbara "Buffy" Billings passed away April 12, 2023, at Ascension St. Mary Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.  Per her wishes cremation has taken place.  She will be privately laid to rest with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Barbara to Tunnel 2 Towers (www.t2t.org)

Buffy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Larry.  Her two sons, Russell (Selena) Billings of Ft. Myers, FL and Tyler (Jessica) Billings of Linden, MI. Grandchildren, Nate, Cade, Lucy, Hunter, McKenna and Walter.  Sisters Christie Cottrill of Grand Blanc and Amy Cohoon of Fenton.  She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.

Barbara Jean Billings was born to the late Sara Jane (Morgan) Arehart in Flint, MI, and attended Flint Southwestern High School. She went on to serve our country with the United States Army before earning three bachelor degrees from Mott Community College.  Though she was offered a full scholarship to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) Barbara had started a family with Larry and was building her career. Barbara was known as "Buffy" to all who knew her and while she earned her living as an electrical engineer, her passion lied in her family, the people she cared for, gardening, camping, raising chickens and being a beekeeper.

Mrs. Billings was preceded in death by her mother, daughter Stephanie, and brothers-in-law Mark Cottrill and Craig Cohoon.
