Barbara Ann ANDERSON

ANDERSON, Barbara Ann -- Age 74, of Fenton, died December 13, 2009 at Brians House Hospice. Barbara was born June 23, 1935 in Scottville, MI, the daughter of Charles S. and Rachel Dot (Shoup) Chisholm. She was the salutatorian of Scottville High School. She married Edward E. Anderson on September 30, 1957 in Hart, MI. Mrs. Anderson was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, her many sewing clubs, reading and computers. Surviving are: husband Edward; five children, Janice and husband Lee Solomon of Coral Springs, FL, Daniel and wife Cindy Anderson of Howell, Melissa Willer of Harrison, Linda and husband Carl Kiel of Byron Center, Mary and husband Joseph Gilmour of Grand Blanc; twelve grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Edward, Rachel, Renae, Amanda, Scott, Ryan, Nicholas, Zachary, Tara, and Tonya; two great-grandchildren, Andrew and David; brother, Gary and wife Carolyn Chisholm; sisters-in-law, Helen Chisholm, Ellen Chisholm; several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her "special sisters." She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles M. and John Chisholm; son-in-law, Gary Willer; and grandson, Jason Kiel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 PM Saturday, December 19 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. A vigil service will be held at 5 PM with visitation until 8 PM Thursday, and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, (810)629-9321, and 12 Noon until the time of the mass at church on Saturday.
