ALEXANDER, B. Adelaide Nelson -- Age 96, of Corunna, died May 25, 2011 at the Largo Medical Center, Largo, Fl. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, May 31 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Pastors Gerald Sever and JD Landis officiating. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Vernon United Methodist Church or Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. She was born August 11, 1914 in Grand Blanc the daughter of Robert Fay Hopkins and Lillian (Austin) Hopkins. Adelaide is survived by: husband Philip Alexander; two sons, Loren Nelson of Cumming GA, Gerald Nelson of Grand Blanc; two step-daughters Bethany Dutcher of Owosso, Jenny Merrill of Kingsford, MI; twelve grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren.
