Audrey Lousie JORDAN

JORDAN, Audrey Louise (Shelp) - born May 1, 1913, in Bancroft, MI, to Myrtle and Edwin Shelp, passed away on March 24, 2012 at Beacon Hill Eastgate in Grand Rapids. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Josiah (Joe) Jordan, and six of her eight siblings. She is survived by daughter, Kay (David) McCall, Grand Rapids; Nan (Ray, deceased) Tarbox, Kalamazoo; Douglas (Dianne) Jordan, Linden; Laura Jordan, Grand Rapids and eight grandchildren, Gwen Tarbox, Kalamazoo; Brian (Carly) McCall, Traverse City; Carrie (Russ) Ahlers, Grand Rapids; Stephen (Maribeth) Jordan, SC; Jeffrey (Terri) Jordan, Fenton; Amy (Tony) Yeulenski, MA; Sandra (Dean) Whittaker, Rockford; Justin (Katharine) Richall, MA; 18 great grandchildren, sister Norma Andrews, CA and brother Sherwood Shelp, AZ, along with many nieces and nephews. Audrey loved nature and animals and was a life long member of the United Methodist Church. Her family will treasure her memory as a much loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. A graveside service will be held at Argentine Township Cemetery, Linden on March 28, 2012. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Salvation Army or the Humane Society would be a fitting tribute to Audrey.
