Arthur Watters Sr.

WATTERS, Arthur R., Sr.  - Age 71, of Lennon, died Sunday, November 17, 2019.  Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 4 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society.

Arthur was born August 5, 1948 in Brighton, the son of Lawrence V. and Loretta M. (Palmer) Watters.  He attended Clarkston High School.  He had resided most of his life in Genesee County.  Arthur married Peggy Wilson November 11, 1972 in Waterford and she preceded him in death November 6, 2010. He was a truck driver for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, softball, playing cards and most of all being with his family.

Surviving are his children, Kimberly Watters of Lennon, Anita Watters of Ovid, Arthur Watters, Jr. and wife Judy of Lennon, and Terry Watters of Lennon; grandchildren, Corey White, Larissa Horn, and A.J. Plowman; great grandson, Dalton; brothers, Lawrence Watters, Jr. of Owosso, Kenneth Watters and wife Burbma of White Lake, Jim Powell of Pontiac; sister, Beatrice Baird of Pontiac; five step grandchildren; 14 step great grandchildren; four step great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Frank Powell; and sisters, Barbara Boose, Vivian Williams, and Katherine Smith.  Tributes may be posted at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
