Arthur Rittenhouse

RITTENHOUSE, Arthur "Larry" - age 80 of Fenton, died Friday, April 7, 2017 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Graveside service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, OH. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 PM Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, OH. Larry was born October 19, 1936 in Bowling Green, the son of Arthur Wilson and Evangeline May (O'Brien) Rittenhouse. He was a graduate of Bowling Green High School and a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. Larry married Katherine Baird on August 12, 1973 in Phoenix, AZ. He retired from Stevens Van Lines in 1991 after 34 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Katherine; four children, Mitchell (Margaret) Rittenhouse of AZ, Kelly (Patricia) Rittenhouse of MN, Sean Rittenhouse of MN, and Kara Lee Rittenhouse of CA; grandson, Michael Rittenhouse; beloved cat, Gracie "Goofy". He was preceded in death by: his parents; four sisters, Donna Lambert, Dorothy Whitacre, Eleanor Bell and Margaret Ann Baker; and brother, Dick Singer.
