LOZEAU, Arthur "Pete", age 80, of Flushing, passed away November 6, 2010 at Avalon Hospice. The family will receive friends from 1-3 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Pete was born August 17, 1930 to Regeina and Joseph Lozeau in Lowell, MA. Pete served in the United States Army from 1950-1955. Upon his return, he married Noella LaBlanc and lived in Chelmsford, MA. Two sons, Michael and Robert were born to the couple. He worked at Worcester Press Aluminum. In 1976, he married Gloria Gregoire. Later, they moved to Sidney, Ohio where he worked as an engineer at Stolles Manufacturing. Wanting to return to family roots, he moved to Belchertown, MA and began working at Avery Dennison in Holyoke, Ma. In 1993, Pete retired and moved to Bradenton, FL, and later to the Flushing area where his life was full and wonderful. Pete loved to build things and "putter" around. He enjoyed his computer, bowling and pool. He loved to play cards but mostly he loved to be with his family. Surviving are wife, Gloria of Flushing; son, Michael (Alexandra) Lozeau of Lake Worth, Florida; step-son, Robert (Jane) Ward of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Nichole (Derrick) Allison of Swartz Creek, Zack Ward of Flint, Ryan (Sheryl) Anderson of Oxford, MA, Keith (Laura) Anderson of Charleton, MA., Adrian Darges of Lake Worth, FL; sisters, Dorothy Pare of Dracut, MA., Lucille Georges of Bradenton, FL. Pete had 10 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death were son Robert Lozeau; brothers, Paul and Gerry; sisters, Simone and Blanche; step-son Dennis Ward, step-daughter, Denise Anderson; grandson, Kevin Ward. We wish to thank everyone at McLaren Hospital and Avalon for their support and care. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Avalon Hospice.
