McDOUGALL, Arthur C., age 79, a resident of Burton, died Sunday June 26, 2005 at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Â Mr. McDougall was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 8, 1925 the son of Herbert and Helen (Tank) McDougall. Â He and Kathryn McGee were married on April 14, 1962 in Energy, Illinois. Â He had been a Burton area resident the past 40 years, and was employed as a truck driver for 30 years, retiring in 1991. Â He was a proud veteran of the US Navy serving as Seaman First Class during WW II. Â Â He enjoyed all sports, especially NASCAR. Surviving is his wife, Kathryn; Children, Pat McDougall of Flint, Mike McDougall of Flint, Linda (Mike) Dunavan of Cambria, Ill, Terry (Faith)Barnett in Illinois, Gary Barnett of Chicago, Ill., Bruce (Laurie) Barnett of Burton, David Barnett of Burton, Larry Barnett of Burton and James McDougall of Burton. Â Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mary Jane Tedford of Flint and Marge (Dewie) McGee of Marion, Ill. Â Mr. McDougall was preceded in death by his parents, a son Tim McDougall 2 brothers and a sister. Â Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at the Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. (just South of Hill Rd.) Â Pastor Larry Rednower will officiate and burial with military honors will be at Flint Memorial Park. Â The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3 to 8 P.M. today and Wednesday from 10 A.M. until service time.
