Arthur Wermuth

WERMUTH, Arthur Burt - age 81, of Holly, died May 10, 2020. Cremation has taken place and private services have been held. Arthur was born August 6, 1938 in Detroit, the son of Burt and Ila (Cole) Wermuth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving aboard the USS Hawkins DDR 873. He married Elsie Mae Oda on July 15, 1961 in Wyandotte. Arthur retired from the U.S. Post Office in 2000 after 22 years of service. He worked for Hazeltine & Perkins-Bergen Brunswick, Flint X-Ray, Arts Home Repair and worked with his wife, Elsie at E.A. Travel for 10 years. Surviving are wife, Elsie Wermuth; sister, Mary Louella (Wermuth) and husband David Kohne; sisters-in-law, Janice Storm and Sharon Manolis; nephews and nieces, John B. (Mary) Wermuth, Andrew Jackson Wermuth, Eric and Wendy Butterfield, Ericka and Nathan Butterfield, LeAnn Oda, Barbara Nelligan, Shannon Hohl, Dennis and Shannah Wallace, Rick Wallace, Susie Wallace, Jamie and Shelly Blackwell, the Roberts Family, Kay, Ronald, Carol, and Louis. He was preceded in death by: sister, Rosa (Wermuth) and husband, Evan Roberts; brother-in-law, Donald and Joan Oda; sister-in-law, Linda (Oda) and Edward Blackwell; and nephew, Jeffery Wallace.
