GALLAHER, Arnold "Bud", age 85, died Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Fr. Tim McDonald officiating. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Â Bud's family will receive visitors at the funeral home Thursday and Friday from 2 to 5 P.M. and 6 to9 P.M. Contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice Care Center or G.C.A.R.C. Bud was born December 29, 1922 in Collinwood, Tennessee the son of J.G. Gallaher and Willhimina Blanche Story. He married Joanne Montour on December 29, 1945 in Wayne County. Bud was a graduate of G.M.I. and was employed by General Motors, retiring from Buick in 1979. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force serving as a pilot and had been awarded many service medals and ribbons. Bud was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He enjoyed his farm and was a member of Pheasants Forever. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Joanne; 7 children, James (Marjorie), David (LaRee), Martin (Justine), Jeffery (Bertha), John (Anita), Mary (Mike) Rule, Deborah Gallaher; 10 Grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
