GRIPENTROG, Arlon Ross -- Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died July 26, 2015. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday July 31, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 11 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Diabetes Association or Parkinson's Foundation. Arlon was born November 25, 1935 in Flint the son of Leonard and Dorothy Gripentrog. He married Barbara J. Lee on March 15, 1965 in Kankakee, Illinois. He was a construction Foreman for the City of Flint. He enjoyed woodworking, football and baseball. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Todd Lee Gripentrog of Burton; grandson, Tyler Gripentrog; sister, Kay LeTourneau; 2 brothers, Kurt Gripentrog and Denny Gripentrog; several nieces and nephews; 2 special friends, Gary Lehr and Chris Olivo.
