SNYDER, Arlene Rose (Crawford) - On Sunday, February 14, 2016, at Vicinia Gardens in Fenton, Michigan, the life, the spirit of Arlene (Crawford) Snyder, age 89, passed from life on earth to the wonderful place prepared for her in heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A funeral service, celebrating Arlene's life, will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 402 South Ballenger in Flint, Pastor Jeffrey Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Endowment Fund. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 21 1-5 PM at Sharp Funeral Home, 6063 Fenton Road and at the church from 10 AM on Monday, February 22 until the time of the service. Arlene was born in Flint, Michigan on October 9, 1926 and was the daughter of Dewey and Irma (Wilder) Klee. Her first husband, Clarence, preceded her in death on July 15, 1990. She married Norman Snyder on January 2, 1998, and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2007. Arlene was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was a great homemaker who loved being with and caring for her family and many friends. Above all, she loved her Lord and served Him through church work and a card ministry to people, far and wide. At St. Paul Lutheran Church, she was a Stephen's Minister and a long-time member of the Altar Guild, Dorcas Circle and Women's Bible Class. In earlier years she was a dedicated Sunday School Teacher. Memories of Arlene will be cherished by her children, John (Laurie) Crawford of Grand Blanc, Linda (Robert) Grieve of Swartz Creek, Thomas (Tracy) Crawford of Mt. Pleasant; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Crawford, Kimberly (Crawford) Luedeman, Jeffrey and Heather Grieve, Dustin and Evan Crawford; 10 great grandchildren, Grace and Ceder Crawford, Leif, Lara, Leah, Lawson and Londyn Luedeman, Hayden Crawford, Luke and Issac Grieve; brothers, Robert (Jonelle) Klee and John (Margie) Klee; sister-in-law, Marcelyne (Ken) Jozik; brother-in-law, Donald Brege; step-children, Norma (Terry) Palmer, Linda (Robert) Greene, and Karla Strauss. Arlene is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends who she loved deeply and by whom she was deeply loved. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Raymond, Harold and Edwin Klee; and sisters Geraldine Pratt and Dorothy Patterson. Arlene's family extends special thanks to Dr. Amy Daros and to Catrina Kraus and her wonderful staff (Arianna, Ashley, Autumn, Carrie, Emily, Monique and Skylar) at Vicinia Gardens in Fenton, Michigan.
